KIRKLAND, WA — A park ranger at Bridle Trails State Park received a credible report of a cougar seen in the park on Friday, according to the Bridle Trails Park Foundation.

The cougar was spotted along the Coyote Trail near 132nd Ave Northeast at the south end of the park near the Bellevue line.

“These large predators move quickly, so the animal could be anywhere in the park or could have moved on. Please exercise caution if you walk or ride in the park,” the Bridle Trails Park Foundation bulletin said.
